About me

Hello, I'm Christian – an enthusiastic photographer from Germany with a curiosity-driven approach to capturing a wide range of images.
My journey into photography began when I borrowed my uncle’s camera as a teenager and immediately developed a fascination for the art. Not long after, I got my first camera, which accompanied me everywhere for quite some time.
As I began my university studies and later entered professional life, photography gradually took a back seat — even though I always felt the urge to return to it.
In early 2024, I bought my first mirrorless camera, and it instantly reignited my love for photography.
For me, photography is more than just taking pictures. My goal is to convey emotions through my images and continuously push the boundaries of my creativity. Whether it's the feeling of sitting on a rock by the sea — the warmth of the sun on your skin, a light breeze, and the soothing sound of waves — or the dramatic presence of stormy clouds, or a rainy walk through the city with reflections of light shimmering in puddles, I strive to capture not just the moment, but the atmosphere behind it.
Although I enjoy experimenting with a wide range of genres and subjects, I’m especially drawn to black-and-white photography, portraiture, and nature-inspired imagery. These styles allow me to explore mood, character, and the quiet beauty of the world in a way that feels deeply personal and expressive.
I'm excited to continue growing as a photographer and sharing my work with others. I find it fascinating how differently people can perceive the same scene, and I’m always on the lookout for fellow photographers to exchange ideas with and collaborate on creative projects.
